The Goa Public Service Commission has recommended promotion of feeder grade officials to the post of Mamlatdars/ Assistant Director of Civil Supplies.
The GPSC through a duly constituted departmental promotion committee recommended that 11 officers from the feeder grade be promoted to the position of Mamlatdar/ Assistant Director of Civil Supplies in the Personnel department. The feeder grade comprises Aval Karkun, inspector of civil supplies and vigilance officers.
Through another DPC, the Commission also recommended the promotion of four executive engineers to the position of superintending engineers in the Water Resource Department.
The Commission has also promoted one assistant registrar of Cooperative Societies and one senior scale officer and lifted the probation of deputy director fisheries and junior pediatrician in the Department of Health Services.
Once government accepts these recommendations, the official orders will be issued only after the model code of conduct is lifted. Due to the ongoing pandemic, the Commission continues to conduct DPCs.
