The Goa Union of Journalists (GUJ) on Saturday announced the winners of the GUJ Journalism Awards for 2023, 2024 and 2025 at its office in Panaji.
The journalism competition received over 200 entries from across the State. The winners were announced by judges Gangaram Mahambre, Sanjay Dhavalikar and Alister Miranda, all senior journalists and former editors. The judges also explained the reasons behind selecting each award-winning entry.
The GUJ Journalism Awards presentation ceremony will be held in June and is expected to be attended by Pramod Sawant, Yuri Alemao and Abhir Hede, Director of Information and Publicity. GUJ president Rajtilak Naik welcomed the gathering, while secretary Vasudev Pagi proposed the vote of thanks.
