The Bombay High Court at Goa on Wednesday issued notices to the State and Central government seeking their ‘say’ on a petition filed by the Quraishi Meat Traders’ Association of Goa challenging certain provisions of Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Regulation of Livestock Markets) Rules, 2017 recently notified by the central government.
