The Chandrawaddo area of Fatorda reported a landslide on Friday, while a huge tree came crashing down on a BMW car parked at the Abade Faria road here in the city on Friday.
Margao fire brigade led by Fire Officer Gill D’Sa rushed to Chandrawaddo as the landslide threatened to hit a residential house in the locality. Boulders and stones along with mud slid down from the Chandrawaddo hillock towards the residential house.
Margao Fire Officer Gill said the fire brigade was monitoring the situation to avert any mishap.
Meanwhile, in another incident at the Abade Faria road, a BMW car which was brought home by the owner after servicing was damaged when a tree came crashing down on the vehicle, causing major damage.
