The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) on Monday announced the tentative schedule for the Higher Secondary (HSSC) and Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination for the academic year 2024-25. While the HSSC exams are tentatively set to commence from February 1, the SSC exams would be held from March 1, 2025.
As per the schedule announced by the Board, the HSSC practical examination for general as well as vocational category would commence from January 8 while for SSC they are scheduled from February 1, 2025. The Board has announced that the HSSC examinations will be held in offline mode, across 20 centres and SSC in 31 centres.
As per the time table for HSSC, the examination will commence with English paper from February 1, while economics is scheduled on February 3, banking on February 4, Hindi on February 6, Physics, accountancy and history on February 8, chemistry and business studies on February 10, Mathematics on February 14, Marathi on February 15, biology on February 17 and geography on February 18.
For the vocation stream, the examination will commence from February 3 with an English Communication skill paper.
As far as the SSC schedule is concerned, English paper is scheduled on March 1 and Hindi on March 3. Third language is scheduled on March 6, social science I and II on March 7 and 8, respectively, Mathematics level II on March 10 and level I paper on March 11. Examination will conclude with the Science paper on March 15.
