Addressing a booth meeting in Sattari, Rane said he had made many efforts to undertake development since the last five years in Valpoi despite being in the opposition.
“Now, I resigned as MLA to undertake all round development of Valpoi constituency. I took this tough decision for the betterment of the people and not for personal benefit,” he said. “I will contest again on the BJP ticket and am ready for it. People are enthusiastic about my decision and they will always support me,” Rane added. He also assured to focus on the Charavne dam project and resolve the issues in Sonshi. Nagargao ZP member Premnath Hazare and booth committee members were present at the meeting.
