VASCO
Various activities were conducted by the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) as part of the nation-wide cleanliness drive on Sunday, which is on the eve of Gandhi’s Jayanti.
Under the drive, numerous activities were conducted at Datro Fishing Village, Vasco Fishing Jetty, Malim Jetty, Aguada Fort, and the Vasco Bus Stand. A massive cleanliness drive was held in Baina village. Mormugao MLA Sankalp Amonkar was the chief guest for the function.
Clean-up drives were also held at the Government High Schools in Vadenagar and Vaddem. The students learned the importance of keeping their surroundings clean, and during the clean-up drive, vegetation in and around the school was also cleared.
