The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicts light rain in some places from April 7 to 9, extending the earlier forecast that only covered April 6 and 7. Haze and shallow fog are expected in some areas on April 4.
Despite these changes, the maximum temperatures are not expected to change much for the next five days.
Dry weather is anticipated on April 4, 5, and 6, following Wednesday's dry conditions across the state. Recorded weather data from Wednesday shows a maximum temperature of 33.4 degrees Celsius in Mormugao and a minimum temperature of 24.5 degrees Celsius in Panaji.
