Speaking at the venue of the International Film Festival of India on Sunday, Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Anurag Thakur said, “IFFI has become a platform for film directors from all over the world to showcase their work. I am sure, India will become a hub for co-production, post-production, film shooting for the technology partner.”
Thakur highlighted that with every passing year the festival is growing bigger.
“This year there are many premieres. As many as 280 films from more than 79 countries are being exhibited in IFFI which speaks volumes about what we have done so far,” he added.
He made the comments at the Red Carpet for opening film of IFFI ‘Alma & Oskar’.
