The tourism minister was replying to a question from Tivim MLA Nilkant Halarnkar in the assembly.
"Out of the seven, two works have been completed, one was under progress, one tendered and three proposals were not taken up," Azgaonkar informed. The three proposals for development and beautification of Shantadurga temple in Pirna, Vetal Temple in Revora and Konchi spring in Bardez were not taken up, the tourism minister said in a written reply.
He said development and beautification of Bhootnath temple, Nadora, at a cost of Rs 1.15 crore was in progress, while development and beautification of Hanuman temple in Pirna was tendered at Rs 62.05 lakh.
According to Azgaonkar, work on installation of multiple arm fixtures and sitting benches around Shree Dattaguru Devasthan at Chicalim, Colvale, and repair and maintenance of high mast lamp at Assonora bus-stand was completed at Rs 4.62 lakh and Rs 0.99 lakh respectively.
