The Committee for the Apostolate of Inter-Religious Dialogue in the Archdiocese of Goa and Daman will organize its annual inter-religious meeting on Thursday at 10.30 am at the Basilica of Bom Jesus in Old Goa, on the occasion of the novena in preparation for the feast of St Francis Xavier. The theme for the occasion is ‘Embracing Other, Progressing Together.’
Representatives from various religions will share their reflections in the light of their Holy Scriptures.
The main aim of this meeting is to acknowledge the values present in every religion and to promote communal harmony, states a press note issued by Fr Olavo Caiado, Director of the Diocesan Centre for Social Communications Media.
