Irani was speaking during the ‘Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas’ Sammelan at Tonyeshwar temple hall at Mauligad-Sakhali. The programme was organised by BJP Goa unit to commemorate 3 years of BJP govt. Union Minister of State AYUSH Shripad Naik, Speaker Dr Pramod Sawant and others were present.
Speaking further, Irani lauded the Modi government for commissioning a railway line at Uchahaar in Amethi district, the constituency of the Gandhi family, within just 3 years, which was never laid by Congress or other party despite ruling the nation for the last 60 years.
“About 10 crore poor people benefited from the LPG facility. During the last 3 years, Modi called upon the banks to finance the people from Rs 50,000 upto Rs 10 lakh without any mortgage,” the minister said.
Union Minister for AYUSH Shripad Naik said the AYUSH ministry has implemented innovative health-related programmes to help the people to live long and disease free.
“A 50-bedded Ayurvedic hospital will be constructed in Velguem village under the AYUSH ministry and the land for it has been donated by Dr Pramod Sawant.”
He said BJP drafted nearly 75 different schemes which benefited the poor people.
Speaker Dr Sawant lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for implementing insurance scheme through which poor people can get natural or accidental death benefits by paying just Rs 12 and Rs 235 respectively. On the occasion, newly elected BJP-backed panchas were honoured by Irani.
