The Maina Curtorim police have registered a case of rape against a native of Jharkhand for sexually abusing a minor girl from Nuvem after kidnapping her.
The police have charged the accused person Chaman Ram for kidnapping the minor girl from the lawful custody of her mother from November 11, 2025 and had sexual intercourse with her till December 7, 2025 at Mumbai.
The accused also took away her mobile phone and left her at Mumbai where she was found by the mother.
The accused has been booked under section 137 (2) 65 (1) of BNS 2023, Sec 4 of POCSO Act and Sec 8(2) of Goa Children Act.
