The silver jubilee celebrations of Kalashree Bumb & Steel Furnitures were observed in Belagavi on Thursday.
Former Goa minister Govind Gaude was the chief guest at the function, while Rohan Juvali of Belgaum Chamber of Commerce and Industries and noted industrialist Bharat Deshpande were among the guests of honour.
Speaking on the occasion Gaude appreciated the social responsibility of Prakash Dolekar, the director of Kalashree Bumbs, stating that he has engaged in enriching the economically weaker sections by creating business opportunities.
“Reaching out to the society with the God-given talents is the best thing a person can do in life. Prakash Dolekar while pursuing his dreams has not only achieved success, but with his talents has been the torch bearer for several people in Belagavi, Goa and Kolhapur region.”
“He also appreciated the visionary efforts of Kalashree group that has taken them to greater heights. If everyone like Prakash Dolekar contributes in a minimum possible way to enrich the society, India can become the super power one day,” Gaude said.
Earlier, Sukanya Dolekar, director of the group, briefed about the 25 years of the company and stating that what began as a small enterprise has now become a big industry with its dealers and customers across Belagavi, Goa and Maharashtra region.
A cake was cut to mark the silver jubilee. Later lucky draw was also held at the hands of the guests. Dealers of company from Goa and other areas were also felicitated on the occasion.
Vidya Krishna Bhandari, was the winner of the third jumbo draw and five other winners from Belagavi and Goa also won prizes for their participation of the schemes by Kalashree group.
Prakash Dolekar has appealed to people of Goa to participate in the schemes that are made available at their door steps. Dealers and customers from Belagavi, Goa and Kolhapur were present for the function.
