A youth from Karnataka but residing at Candolim was nabbed near Dolphin Circle at Calangute on Friday night on charges of illegally possessing ganja worth Rs 90,000.
According to reports, a Calangute police team let be PI Nolasco Raposo and PSI Vikas Deykar nabbed Isaq Khalif (19) on charges of illegally possessing 904 grams of ganja, which was found concealed in a scooter driven by him.
The accused was booked under the NDPS Act and was produced before the JMFC Mapusa to seek police custody. He was subsequently granted conditional bail.
Further investigation is in progress under the supervision of Porvorim SDPO Edwin Colaco and SP North Pankaj Kumar.
