Aam Aadmi Party national convener and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, who was on a two-day long visit to Goa, on Monday, took blessings at Ajoba Temple at Honda- Sattari. Kejriwal also had lunch with the family of Satguru Amre at Velguem, a village in the mining belt.
In a press release, AAP states that Kejriwal arrived in the state on Sunday afternoon. After interacting with the Mauxi and Badruk villagers, Kejriwal on his way visited the temple before the interaction scheduled at Pale, a village in the Sanquelim constituency, with mining dependent workers.
He was accompanied by AAP Goa convenor Rahul Mhambre and AAP leader and mining activist Puti Gaonkar.
Kejriwal, who was on a two-day visit, was invited to the Gomantak Bhandari Samaj head office on Sunday. He became the first chief minister who visited the head office. On the second day of his visit, he interacted with Mauxi and Badruk villagers and assured land ownership to them. Later, he met mining dependent workers and promised to resume the mining industry within six months after AAP forms government in the state.
