A vibrant and active Junior Jaycee Sagar K Chandran from Nilambur-Kerala, who walked solo from his home state arrived in Margao on Monday after covering a distance of 680 kilometres.
Chandran told the media after reaching Margao that the prime objective behind his adventurous walk was to reach the generous hands who want to help the Kerala flood-affected victims.
With this motto in mind, Chandran used his talent of making live paintings and sell these at various places during his walk. “This money will be used for the flood victims of Nilambur as it was the worst-hit province in Kerala,” he said.
His journey commenced on February 15 and ended in Goa on Monday.
Kerala was hit by a horrifying flood in 2019 and Nilambur was one of the worst-hit areas. Several people lost their lives and many people lost their valuables.
Chandran was also a victim of the flood as he had lost all his belongings and certificates. During his walkathon, Chandran, also a travel blogger, updated his journey live on YouTube.
