20-year-old girl critical after drug overdose, two arrested

The girl apparently had an overdose and fell unconscious. It was only when her other friends returned to the room in the wee hours of Sunday, they found her lying unconscious on the floor

MAPUSA: 
A 20-year-old girl from Raigad-Maharashtra, who came down to Goa with her friends on Saturday, has been admitted to Goa Medical College in a critical condition for drug overdose.   
A local friend of the girl and a drug supplier have been arrested in the case.   
Anjuna Police informed that the girl, who had come with her friends, were all putting up at a guest house in Anjuna.   
On Saturday, she contacted her local friend and one of the accused, Shamim Mohammed (30), from Carraswaddo, who came to meet her in the guest house. While she remained in the guest house with Mohammed, her other friends went out to party. In the meanwhile, Mohammed allegedly contacted a drug supplier, Tukaram Nana of Anjuna, and purchased some stuff from him, police said.
