Konkani sammelan held
BICHOLIM: Noted literalist Mukesh Thali has called upon youth literalists to make use of novel technology to propagate literature.
He was speaking during Konkani youth sammelan organized under the guidance of Uday Bhembrey at Ravindra Bhavan Sakhali. Sakhali MLA Dr Pramod Sawant, poet Shailendra Mehta, Konkani Academy president Madhav Borkar and Dr Bhushan Bhave were present.
Earlier, the sammelan was inaugurated by Mehta. Siddhi Porob welcomed the gathering, Prof Sunita Kanekar outlined the programme.
On the occasion, author Kashinath Naik was awarded late Meghshyam Nayak Award.
