KTC Chairman and Vasco MLA Carlos Almeida on Friday said work on the Vasco bus terminus and ultra-modern transport hub would be taken up through bank finance.
"Works on the project has temporarily stopped as the piling work of the depot is over. We have now placed a proposal for private finance from a company, which is a banking institution.”
“The bank from Calcutta will finance us for this project and though I have a verbal approval, the proposal is with the government and once the finance comes, work will start immediately,” said Almeida.
