The Fatorda police arrested the remaining three accused persons in connection with the brutal assault on Vijay Kulal that took place at the Comba ring road last month.
The three accused persons Walter Fernandes (32) of Raia, Joseph Fernandes (30) of Camurlim-Raia and Simon Saldanha (32) a resident of Quelim-Cansaulim were arrested after they surrendered to the Fatorda police station.
The trio had applied for anticipatory bail before the South Goa Sessions Court, but the plea was rejected.
They were wanted in connection with the Vijay Kulal assault case under sections 143, 147, 341, 324, and 506 (ii) read with section 149 of the IPC. Three of the accused persons were earlier arrested by the police.
The Fatorda police had acted in the case after the assault on Vijay Kulal, captured on video went viral on social media last month.
The Fatorda police is investigating.
