Chodankar, who is active on social media platforms, tweeted on Tuesday that an endorsement of his views by senior BJP leaders confirms the BJP government's neglect of the minority and bahujan sections of Goan society.
"BJP leaders exCm @ParsekarL, exDyCM #FrancisD'souza, #DayanandMandrekar endorsed my statement that GoaGovt is #AntiBahujan #AntiMinority," Chodankar tweeted. In his second tweet, he wrote, "At least 1 leader in @GoaBJP shown courage to speak truth, I must compliment @MichaelLobo76 He also claimed this Govt is #AntiGoenkarponn."
Speaking to The Goan, Chodankar said that the tweets were a reaction to a report which appeared on The Goan edition dated November 7. "Alliance partners in the coalition government are fighting over portfolios. All parties in the state are working towards their own benefits and ignore the poor and the middle-class Goans," the report quotes Lobo.
"Lobo has raised the same issues that I have voiced in the past. Now that their senior leaders are speaking up along these lines, the BJP should stop turning a blind eye to the bahujan samaj and minority communities and formulate policies for their progress."
Lobo hailed for raising voice against own govt
All India Congress Committee Secretary Girish Chodankar on Tuesday praised Calangute MLA Michael Lobo for criticizing the anti-Bahujan and anti-Goenkarponn policies of his own government.
