Exuding confidence that the Lotus will bloom in Fatorda as well in the 2027 Assembly election, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Friday said the BJP government will resolve the issue of regularisation of houses of the people before the 2027 elections.
Addressing party workers at the Fatorda Karyakarta Melava on Friday, the Chief Minister said his government had made an attempt to regularise the houses of the people, but could not take off last time because of some issues. “I can say with confidence that the BJP government will resolve the issue of regularisation of houses before the 2027 Assembly election,” he said.
Saying that the government decision on separation of houses will end fights in the families, the Chief Minister said similar measures will be implemented in the Municipal areas as well in the near future.
Saying that no one should harbour any doubt over BJP’s target to win 27 seats in the 2027 Assembly election, the Chief Minister exuded confidence that not only will the party win 27 seats in the coming elections, but the Lotus will also bloom in Fatorda as well.
He urged the party workers to start the work of bringing the party to power again in the right earnest, complimenting State President Damu Naik for starting the preparatory work across the State.
The Chief Minister said he has started the process of interaction with the private sector to assess the requirement of manpower in various sectors. “My government is committed to provide jobs to the local youth. Hence, we have set in motion the interactive process with the private players to assess the job requirement in the private sector,” he added.
Referring to Digambar Kamat’s statement that the Goa government had successfully conducted the Exposition of St Francis Xavier last year, the Chief Minister said, “For the first time, the clergy complimented the government for the excellent arrangements put in place for the Exposition. My government does not discriminate against any community. We believe in Sab ka sath, sab ka vikas,” he said.
Unveiling plans to build the KTC bus stand at Margao, the Chief Minister said no one should claim credit as and when the bus stand is taken up and complete. “As Chief Minister of Goa, I have to usher in the development of entire Goa,” he added.
