Incessant and heavy rains over the last two days have left the low-lying areas of Mungul inundated by flood waters.
The river Sal was found flowing in full spate at the Mungul bridge, with the overflowing waters inundating large tracts of low-lying areas of Mungul.
Locals, however, pointed out that the worst is not over yet and the land filling carried out by the PWD, National Highway to build a road to pave way for the movement of vehicles and machinery, may result in flooding in the coming days.
