Lucky escape for driver as chemical leaks from tanker at Karaswada
The tanker which developed a chemical leakage at the Mapusa Industrial Estate in Karaswada.

The driver had a lucky escape when the lid of the tanker containing chemical blew open and the chemical began to leak at the Mapusa Industrial Estate in Karaswada.

According to reports, the incident took place at about 4.15 pm, when the tanker had come to the company with the chemical.

As unloading operations were underway, the lid of the tanker blew open and the chemical began to leak out. 

The tanker driver Gurudev Singh from Punjab who was on top of the tanker managed to escape unhurt.

The company employees controlled the leakage, before a fire tender from the Mapusa Fire Station could reach the site.
