Three persons, believed to be minors were apprehended by the locals. One of the accused was armed with a knife.

In another incident at the station reported late Saturday, the locals nabbed two persons, believed to be preparing to waylay tourists as well visitors to the railway station.

A Malbhat local Rishab Karapurkar told The Goan that the local residents maintained a close vigil on the station road in view of the spate of thefts and waylaying of visitors.
