The Fatorda police late Saturday evening arrested a resident of Orlim on the charges of alleged molestation near the office of TCP Minister Vijai Sardesai located near the Bolshe circle at Gogol.
Fatorda PI Navlesh Desai informed that the police has arrested the 46 year old accused from Orlim upon a complaint from a 33 year old woman from Housing board. He added that around 20 women were coming out of the TCP Minister's office after planning a program when the accused came in a car and passed some derogatory sexual remarks. Incensed over the behaviour of the accused, the women caught hold of the accused before calling the Fatorda police. MMC Chairperson Babita Prabhudesai condemned the incident, while the women have decided to call on the police on Sunday to demand stern punishment.
