A 58-year old resident of Colva, who collapsed at the Holy Spirit Church Margao during prayers was declared brought dead at the South Goa District hospital Margao.
Joseph Philip Rodrigues (58) had gone for prayer to the Holy Spirit Church along with his sister.
During police inquiry, it was revealed that deceased was brought from Holy Spirit Church, Margao by Robot 32 vehicle staff after he collapsed in the church during the prayers.
Police said the autopsy report had certified the cause of death as "Cardiac Tamponade consequent to cardia rupture, in a person with history of Chronic Hypertension".
