The burnt municipal garbage bins in Ansabhat-Mapusa.
Six municipal trolley garbage bins which were used in the house-to-house garbage collection were set ablaze in Ansabhat-Mapusa.
The incident came to light on Thursday morning when municipal workers found the trolley bins destroyed near the construction building of Sandeep Falari in Ansabhat, which, incidentally, is represented by Mapusa Municipal Council (MMC) Priya Mishal. The miscreants are believed to have set fire to the trolley bins on Wednesday night.
MMC Chief Officer Chandrakant Shetkar later filed a complaint with the Mapusa police against unknown persons.
