Man injured in accident at Varca

MARGAO: A 74-year-old man was injured in a collision between a motorcycle and a scooter at Varca.

According to Colva police, the accident occurred on September 18, when the motorcycle driven by one Mohammad (20), a resident of Cuncolim who was proceeding from Cuncolim to Colva collided with a Scooty driven by one Francisco (74) thereby injuring the victim rider in the process.

Colva police have registered an offence under Sections 279 and 337 of IPC. Further investigations are in progress.
