PORVORIM

A 78-year-old man from Moica waddo in Pilerne died in a road mishap in Guirim on Wednesday.

According to Porvorim police, Joao Patricio D’Souza was driving a car from Pilerne to Mapusa, when he lost control and the vehicle rammed into a coconut tree on the road divider.

D’Souza was grievously injured in the mishap and died on the way to hospital.

Porvorim Police Sub Inspector Sitaram Malik is investigating the case.
