A 37-year-old man drowned near the Harihareshwar temple at Pato-Parcem in Pernem.
According to sources, the Nullah was overflowing due to heavy rains and water started overflowing.
Siddharth Bhisaji of Nhaiginn-waddo, Parcem, was carried away by the strong currents. A local who was fishing nearby managed to pull out Bhisaji and he was rushed to the government hospital where he was declared dead.
