Man murdered at construction site in Cortalim — A police team at the crime site in Cortalim.

A 32-year-old man was found murdered at a site under construction along the highway in Pajentar-Cortalim late Tuesday evening.

According to sources, Lionel Lobo (Pinkush) was found dead with severe head injuries caused by a cement block. The owner of the construction site was alerted and he notified the police.

A police team are conducting investigations at the site. SP Sunita Sawant, DySP Salim Shaikh and Cortalim MLA Anton Vas also visited the crime site. Police have taken CCTV footage from the vicinity, as investigations are in progress.

Snake visits classroom in Savoi-Verem

PONDAA classroom at the Government Primary School (GPS) in Savoi-Verem had an unusual visitor when a snake made its presence felt on Tuesday morning. According to the information, the snake entered the classroom at around 11 am and the teacher quickly took the schoolchildren out of the classroom.Some parents were alerted and they went to the school. A short while later, they got in touch with an animal welfare activist, who went to the classroom and took the snake away.
