Marcela bus stand to be inaugurated on June 2

The Marcela bus stand complex will be officially inaugurated by Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant on June 2 at 10 am.

Priol MLA and Minister for Art and Culture Govind Gaude, Chief Secretary Parimal Rai, KTCL Chairman Carlos Almeida and Tivrem-Orgao Sarpanch Sanjyot Khadapkar will be present on the occasion.

Former chief minister late Manohar Parrikar had laid the foundation stone for the bus stand project at Marcela in January 2014 at an estimated cost of Rs 18 crore. This bus stand will benefit a large number of buses and commuters traveling to and from Marcela.
