MAPUSA: The Catholic Association of Goa (CAG), Panaji, will organise a meeting of prospective brides and bridegrooms with the objective of selecting partners for the sacrament of marriage at Mapusa Church hall (St Jerome's S Church) on July 23 from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.
According to a press note, parents of bachelors and spinsters from Bardez and surrounding areas may attend the meeting for enrollment and registration with photo. Details may be obtained from Edwin Fonseca, CAG president, Jose Carmino Joao, CAG secretary or Leticia.
The CAG will link the Mapusa registry with the Panaji and Margao registeries for enlarging the selection base.
Meanwhile, the Margao meeting was attended by nearly 300 parents, some with their children.
The CAG plans to have meetings in Ponda, Vasco, Canacona and other centres in August.
