A resolution asking the government to conduct a probe to ascertain the exact cause of death of police constable Kishor Shirodkar was passed during the gram sabha.
Residents Deepak Shetgaonkar, Futushing Shetgaonkar and Tukaram Shetgaonkar alleged that no action has been taken on the resolutions passed in the earlier gram sabhas.
Santosh Shetgaonkar sought to know what projects will be undertaken by the new panchayat and also demanded that plans, if any, be displayed.
The residents also demanded information of various government schemes, a list of which should be put up on the notice board of the panchayat.
Other issues of government schemes, mobile phone towers, controversial constructions by outsiders and renovation of Morjim playground were also discussed.
Tukaram Shetgaonkar made a suggestion to the panchayat for purchasing a vehicle to lift garbage from the village.
