Police nabbed a member of the global gang engaged in robbing people of their money through ATM hacking. Police arrested two Romanians -- Emaual Prijoal (46) and Vasil Sipoj (41) from Kolhapur at a starred hotel on Saturday midnight.
For last several months, incidents of fraudulent transactions from ATM had been reported different various parts of Goa
According to the police, the gang took information of account holders with the help of skimmer secretly installed in ATM and then by cloning the pin number used to withdraw money.
On a tip off, police headed for a starred hotel at Shaupuri in Kolhapur and arrested them while at a party, and brought them to Goa. Police confiscated two laptops, five mobile, five international ATM cards, three bags and Rs 7 lakh cash, passport and some foreign currency from them.
