PANAJI
BJP state president Vinay Tendulkar on Sunday stated that while the Mhadei Water Dispute Tribunal will solve the ‘problem’, BJP led by its national president Amit Shah will resolve the matter after forming government in Karnataka.
Speaking at a press brief at BJP office in Panaji, Tendulkar said, “Amit Shah will resolve the problem. Tribunal will also solve the problem. We are waiting for tribunal. After forming Karnataka government we will find the solution.”
Tendulkar was addressing the press following the victory of BJP in three North Eastern State Assemblies. “BJP has emerged victorious in all three states. Following Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh, we have won over 50 per cent of the seats in Tripura. Our vote share in Nagaland has risen from three per cent to 15.5 per cent with 11 MLAs in the minority state. Efforts are underway to form the government in Meghalaya,” he said adding that out of 29 states in the country, 21 states now have NDA governments.
Meanwhile, referring to the health of Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, Tendulkar informed that he paid a visit to the ailing CM along with the BJP general secretary two days ago at the CM’s official residence.
“CM’s health has improved over the last few days. He is clearing files from his official residence. He spoke to us for 25 minutes about the working of party organization and advised us about the upcoming Foudnation Day celebrations to be held in April,” Tendulkar said.
