MILD TREMOR FELT IN GOA
A mild tremor was felt in Goa at around 11.45 pm on Saturday, but nornimmediate damages were reported in any part of the State. Initial reports indicated that tremors were felt in Panaji, Bicholim, Porvorim, Old Goa and surrounding areas.

PANAJI: According to the preliminary earthquake report from the Indian Meteorological Department, a slight intensity tremor of 4.8 magnitude was felt in
the Koyna Maharashtra region. The tremor had an epicentre of Lat.17.1°N Long.73.8°E. The MET department, however, could not provide any further details when The Goan
contacted their Panaji office at midnight.
