A teenager from Pedda-Benaulim was killed in a road mishap at Vagator on Thursday morning.
The accident took place around 7.30 am when Suresh Arjun Chavan was riding a scooter from the Vagator petrol pump towards St Anthony’s Hospital. On the way, he lost control of the bike and rammed into a mango tree near Swagat restaurant.
Chavan was seriously injured in the mishap and was shifted to the Mapusa District Hospital. He was referred to the GMC hospital for further treatment and breathed his last there.
Anjuna police is conducting further investigation.
