Sources at the hospital told The Goan that constant power outages had disrupted services at the hospital. “When injured passengers started pouring in on Tuesday morning, there was no power supply and we had to use candles to inspect their injuries,” said a source at the hospital. The hospital staff thanked an electronic media person, Hiru Mahale, who used his camera light to assist hospital staff in administering first aid to the injured passengers.
“We provided first aid to some injured passengers and discharged them, while some were referred to GMC for further medical attention,” said the source at the Hospital.
