Missing fisherman found dead

CANACONA: The body of a 24-year-old Orissa native, who was missing from a fishing trawler at Betul, was found floating at Palolem beach on Thursday morning.

According to Canacona police, Ashok Chaudhary had been reported missing since Sunday. A complaint to this effect was lodged at Cuncolim Police station on Monday.

The body of the Orissa native was found floating in the Palolem sea on Thursday. The body was retrieved with the help of the fire brigade and police later referred it to Hospicio Hospital for an autopsy.
