Alina pushes for Bandolem lake beautification

Science and Technology Minister and Cortalim MLA Alina Saldanha visited the Bandolem lake at Sancoale on Thursday, to discuss modalities to convert the lake into a tourist attraction.
The minister was accompanied by the GSIDC consultants. Sancoale Sarpanch Ramakant Borkar was also present.
The minister said that the natural beauty and the flora and fauna of the lake should not be disturbed. Saldanha also sought the cooperation of the neighbouring landowners to help beautify the lake.
Earlier, the Sancoale gram sabha had approved the proposal for beautifying the lake. The Sancoale Comunidade has also issued a NOC to beautifying the lake.
