Missing Mumbai teens traced at Baina beach within an hour

A boy and a girl reported missing from Mumbai were swiftly traced at Baina beach on Friday, barely an hour after Mormugao police received information about their presence in the coastal belt.

The incident came to light after a kidnapping case was registered at Vile Parle police station in Mumbai following the disappearance of the two teenagers. Acting on specific input, a Mormugao police team led by PSI Yeshwant Raikar, along with PSI Saidatt Naik and Vasco PSI Nikhil Desai, immediately rushed to Baina beach and traced the teenagers.

Police sources said the coordinated action and quick response ensured that the minors were located without any harm. The operation was carried out under the supervision of PI Sharif Jaques. Further formalities were being completed in coordination with the Mumbai police, while the teenagers were reported to be safe and in good health.
