Mixed waste washes ashore along Salcete coastal belt

Mixed waste, including green waste was washed ashore along the Salcete coastal belt between Fatrade and Cavelossim on Saturday. Fishermen spotted the waste lying on the beach all along the stretch on Saturday morning.

Benaulim fisherman Pele Fernandes informed that the mixed waste, including green waste was found washed ashore along the beach stretch in the morning. “The waste has been washed ashore by the waves. At some stretches, it appears that the waste is primarily green waste,” he said.
