Aam Aadmi Party Benaulim MLA Capt Venzy Viegas has provided harvesting machines to farmers in Benaulim through the Benaulim Farmers Hub under his Krishi Works initiative.
Speaking to the farmers, Viegas said he would support them in accessing seeds, tractors, fertilisers and harvesting machines. He also interacted with farmers to understand the problems they face.
The farmers apprised the MLA of their concerns and appreciated the support being extended to them. They also raised concerns over Section 39A and expressed anxiety about the status of their fields.
Viegas assured the farmers that the AAP stood by them on their issues and reiterated his call to vote out the BJP. He said the AAP had promised to scrap Section 39A within a month of coming to power.
