All top officials of the Health Department offered a standing ovation to the outgoing Health Secretary Nila Mohanan upon the conclusion of the weekly expert committee meeting of the department.
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane expressed gratitude to Mohanan and said that the 2007 AGMUT cadre IAS officer is “one of the finest” that he has worked with.
“Health Secretary Mohanan will be departing on her deputation to Delhi. It is her progression path in her career. We are grateful to her for her services and hoping that she can extend it a little bit in Goa because she is one of the finest officers I have worked with. We are going to miss her presence as she has been a very proactive officer in fighting the pandemic in Goa,” Rane told the media persons.
