Molestation and other charges were made against activist Rama Kankonkar and 30 others by Prachi Chopdekar in relation to the entry by the villagers into the property of the floating cottages project in Mandur.
It may be recalled that the Mandur locals had entered the property to inspect the floating cottages project, on Sunday, which they alleged was being carried out by flouting several rules.
The Agassaim police informed that Prachi Chopdekar who is a supervisor of the floating cottages project lodged a complaint, on Monday, against Kankonkar and 30 others alleging molestation, threatening, rioting and other charges.
When questioned whether the police have made any arrest in the matter, Agassaim PI Uday Gaude informed that the police are investigating the matter and no arrests have been made.
Attempts by The Goan to contact Kankonkar proved futile till late Tuesday night but sources close to him informed that he along with the others have moved for anticipatory bail in the matter.
