Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday alleged that the Goa government memorandum of understanding with Portugal for infrastructure is the biggest joke on the people of Goa.
“There is probably money to be made in this deal,” alleged AAP leader Valmiki Naik in a press conference.
“It is fact that Portugal during their 450 years of rule in Goa created created roads, drainages, gardens and coconut plantations that lasted for hundreds of years. It is the Congress, BJP and MGP that have destroyed this infrastructure in a span of two to three decades. Today,
they’re claiming that they are collaborating with Portugal for better infrastructure. This is the biggest joke,”
added Naik.
Naik informed that the party will be inaugurating its South Goa District Office on October 2 located on the Ground Floor, R A Apartments, Opposite KTC Bus Stand, Margao, at the hands of Atishi, the former advisor to the government of Delhi on education reforms.
Atishi will also launch the website of Aam Aadmi Party’s Goa unit. The party will also announce the installation of constituency coordinators for 20 constituencies across the State on this occasion.
The volunteers will also take out a rally to protest the dismal condition of governance in the State and highlight the number of major issues facing the aam aadmi in Goa.
The rally will proceed from the office at KTC bus stand, turn around the Margao Colva Circle and return to the starting point.
