One Suchitra Gawade, 21, from Pissurlem-Sattari, who was riding pillion on a scooter died in an accident at Cuncolim-Mangueshi junction.
Ponda police informed that Gawade died on the spot the accident.
The scooter and the bus were headed in the same direction (Mardol to Pissurlem) when the accident occurred. The accident occurred when the scooter brushed against the bus, they said.
The rider Ulhas Gaude, 20, sustained minor injuries. At the time of writing this report, the Ponda police were supposed to detain the bus driver Farukh Usman Shaik.
